staff augmentation

senior engineers who plug into your team

You keep the roadmap, the standups and the decisions. We supply senior developers who join your repository and your rituals, and a manager on our side who stays accountable for their work.

what you get

  • senior, not seat-filling

Most of our senior engineers grew here. We hire for potential, teach generously, and stay long enough to see one another become excellent, which is why the person you get is not the cheapest one on a bench.

  • locally managed

Performance, cover and holidays are handled on our side. You direct the work; we stay responsible for the engineer doing it.

  • your process, not ours

Your board, your branching model, your review standard, your definition of done. We are joining something that already works.

  • a specialist opinion on tap

Sometimes the need is capacity. Sometimes it is one person who has already solved the problem in front of your team.

  • the same AI disclosure

Our engineers work with coding agents and review the output with a senior engineer's judgment. If your policy limits that, tell us up front and we work inside it.

  • engagements that outlast the contract

We still maintain and extend Novomed's platform, and our collaboration with Collecteurs is ongoing. Long relationships are the normal outcome here.

what we hire for

teams we joined and stayed with

Three engagements that started inside somebody else's product and did not stop at the first release.

questions we get asked

How quickly can someone start?
It depends on the month. We take on a limited number of engagements at a time so nobody is double-booked, which is good for your project and inconvenient for instant answers. Tell us the shape of the role and we will tell you honestly what we have.
Do we manage them, or do you?
You direct the work day to day. We stay accountable for the engineer: performance, cover and continuity are our problem, not your sprint's.
What is the minimum commitment?
We would rather start with a defined piece of work than a headcount number. It gives both sides something real to judge before anyone extends.
Where do your engineers work from?
Remotely, on your hours where the overlap matters. We hire for advanced English because the job is as much explaining a trade-off as writing the code.
Do they use coding agents?
Yes, and they are hired for it: our engineering roles require hands-on production experience with coding agents and a sharp eye for agent-written code that reads well but fails under scrutiny. Nothing lands in your repository without a senior review.
Can an augmented team turn into a delivery team?
It often does. The Wing started as an improvement plan for an existing website, became a move to newer technology, and settled into ongoing work on the framework and new features.
